Free sample copies of a book are ordered from an online printer. To prevent usability, the printer has printed “MUSTEREXEMPLAR” (“sample copy/specimen”) across the pages — which gives the title and text. On the title page, the name of A.C. is printed and combines with “Musterexemplar”. With thin paper, the imprinted text shines through like an “X” that crosses out the pages. Each copy is unique. It is ordered until the printer refuses to produce it or all possible types and combinations of papers are are collected.
