IN BETWEEN- OUVRAGE À LA CARTE is a video-book-game-building kit, in which the traditional arrangement and use of the pages are completely redefined.
The overlapping prints on transparent papers are images translated from Claudia's video installation where she found abandoned plastic bags and then turned into wind-activated sculptures. New York City, Berlin, Hong Kong, Budapest and other cities have been the stages of her intervention in the landscapes.
The white paper cover itself of IN BETWEEN - OUVRAGE À LA CARTE is the result of a 1-year-project of embossing found urban objects, and signed by the artist for each edition. The whole book -from the cover to the sequencing cards- is intentionally made without any glue or binding, referring to the work with recycled plastic bags. The beholder of her video-book-docu can shuffle the cards back and forth, can arrange and rearrange the sequence and create their own narrative.
