Tape
Tape is a common household material and a familiar packaging tool in the logistics industry. Inspired by the residue left behind when tape is torn from a parcel, it resembles a film exposure as an image. It also carries traces through the transition between surfaces.
Tape is therefore a 52-metre-long roll of paper containing images of residue left by torn tape. Divided into 58 sections, each one is at a one-to-one scale of the original tape.
