In an era of information overload, absurd and bizarre news stories appear incessantly. To capture both the randomness of unfolding events and their unexpected interconnections, this work uses Mikado, or pick-up sticks, as a metaphor. The sticks fall and rebound to create a new set of possibilities. Readers are invited to create their own sequence of reading, assembling and interpreting the narrative for themselves.
