Micah Lexier

Micah Lexier is a Toronto-based artist whose activities include making, collecting, and organizing. He has a deep interest in measurement, increment and display structures, and his work often draws on his extensive archive of found materials. He has presented over 120 solo exhibitions and has participated in more than 250 group exhibitions. Lexier’s projects range in scale from custom-minted coins to massive public sculptures, but his preferred vehicle is the artists’ multiple – small scale objects, including books and other printed items, that are inexpensive to produce, can be made in large quantities and travel easily.
