How to Distribute in Berlin
Workshop: How to Distribute (Book) in Berlin
Workshop Place: einBuch.kollektiv / Florastr. 61, 13187 Berlin
Making a book already raises various questions: where do you begin, what kind of content should you select, and which format best suits your concept? But, have you also considered how your book becomes visible to the public after it’s published?
Jae Kyung Kim from einBuch.haus will share her experience in book distribution—how to bring your books to a wider audience. From tips on placing your books in your favourite bookstores to attending book fairs, contacting with museum acquisitions team, and reaching private collectors, this session will cover practical strategies for getting your work out there.
Kim started her distribution work from scratch. As both a distributor at einBuch.haus and a publisher at einBuch.haus and ENKR, she will offer insights from both perspectives.
This talk is ideal for those who have recently published independent projects or are planning to do so.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session. Talk in English and sometimes in German.
