Spotlight: Schachtel-Workshop
In diesem Workshop mit Henriette Artz lernen wir, wie wir eine Box mit aufgelegtem Deckel im Format A6 bauen.Die Teilnehmenden setzen die Box aus Graupappe zusammen, schneiden sich das passende Gewebe zu, schleifen die Box und beziehen sie anschließend mit dem Buchbindeleinen.
Es werden Grundlagen im Auftragen von Klebstoff, Ausmessen für den Bezug der Box und dem Arbeiten mit Pappe und Buchbindeleinen vermittelt.

Spotlight: Boxmaking-Workshop
In this workshop lead by Henriette Artz, we will learn how to build a box with a lid in A6 format. Participants will assemble the box from greyboard, cut the appropriate covering material, sand the box, and then cover it with bookbinding cloth. Basic skills on boxmaking will be taught, including applying adhesive, measuring for covering the box, and working with board and bookbinding cloth.
Instructor
Henriette Artz is a Berlin based artist and designer with a background in illustration, printmaking and bookbinding.
Her drawings have been published in childrens books, magazines and various newspapers.
In her studio in Berlin Weißensee she's making high quality cases, portfolios and custom-made boxes of all kinds.

* Diese Veranstaltung findet ab 4 Teilnehmer:innen statt. (Max. 6 Teilnehmer:innen).
