Various parts of the acorn, collected on a wall, are to be captured in a picture before they are exposed to the natural process of decay. Even as the image is being created, it becomes clear that the shapes emerging on the paper will differ greatly from the object they are supposed to depict. After the objects are removed from the sheet and it is washed with water, the resulting abstract shapes, with their soft and open contours, will detach themselves and open up a poetic space for new interpretations and associations.
