SHORT SCAR/VES

SHORT SCAR/VES is a small publication by David Boon. The project originates from his “onecuts” (small cut-outs from old magazines).

CAT / SCARES / SCRATCHES / SCAR / SCARF

The onecuts stand on their own as ‘SCAR’ and in a pattern as ‘SCARF’. The result is a publication / booklet / work to put on the wall.

Boon looked at simple things and uses them in a different way, whether it’s the shapes in old advertisements or the binder that he uses to show his work in this project, or the perforations to mimic the appearance of a scarf.
