To Care, To Feel, To Hope: Acts of Resistance in Embodied Storytelling

Luïza Luz

Workshop ⎢Sat. April 26, 14 - 17 hr

einBuch.haus / Florastr.61, 13187 Berlin

Admission: 44 Euro, max. 8 person, Registration to info@einbuch.haus

Storytelling is one of the oldest ways we make sense of the world. Our bodies are living archives of memory, carrying the stories of the Earth and our ancestors. In times of struggle, listening to these stories becomes an act of care. Voicing them becomes an act of resistance.
This workshop is an opportunity to practice storytelling as an embodied experience—one that engages deep listening and the body’s wisdom as ways to remember, reclaim, and reimagine. Through inputs on intersectional environmentalism, somatic practices, guided writing, and collective reflection, we will awaken the body’s wisdom as a site of ecological and collective liberation.
Together, we will ask: How does the body remember, resist, and reclaim? How can deep listening become a form of care? How do our voices, gestures, and silences shape the worlds we inhabit? How can storytelling ground us in hope and help us birth new futures?
Rooted in the book Beneath the Surface: Deep Listening, Buried Narratives & Embodied Resistance by Luïza Luz (Archive Books & we make it, 2024), this workshop draws from its practices of deep listening, somatic inquiry, and storytelling as acts of resistance.

→ Open to all who wish to engage in radical presence and embodied storytelling. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to listen, feel, and share.
→ Participants will leave with embodied practices of deep listening and storytelling as tools for personal empowerment and collective change, cultivating care, connection, and a renewed sense of hope.
