Wounds Archive
Wounds Archive examines wildlife rescue not as a series of isolated stories, but as a systematic record of human-wildlife conflict and repair. What began with the private grief of losing a pet developed into a broader inquiry into human-animal relations, shifting the project from personal loss towards public ethics.
An accompanying booklet traces this grief as the emotional thread that leads to a wider question: in an age concerned with human equality, what ethical responsibility do we hold towards the non-human lives with which we coexist? The archive ultimately reveals a troubling cycle in which the same human actions that cause harm also make the archive necessary, while rescue, surgery, and care become its central subject.
