The Dance of the Dancing Plant
After many wanderings, The Dance of the Dancing Plant took shape as a hand-bound book with an etched ear, composed of lithographs, video letters, and collage-like prose poems. The dancing plant, also known as the telegraph plant, moves in response to sound. Sending stones, when held in the hand, are said to communicate across long distances. A whispered murmur passing through the walls of each page links the silent messages beneath the surface, reaching across layers of separation through inward listening, encounter, and connection.
