MARGINALIA is an investigation into the anatomy of books and its overlooked and unknown territories of nondescript edges, margins, and backgrounds. By carefully stripping books of any information, it exposes filigree grids, rhythmic voids, and blank spaces. Revealing the tactile essence of books, MARGINALIA is an attempt at mediating the empty, quiet, and yet eloquent remaining spaces that seem to have their own language – that of an abstract visual poetry of books.
