The Algae Paper
The Algae Paper is the result of more than 12 years of research conducted across Germany and France, spanning city and countryside, studio and sea. Beginning with observations of green tide phenomena along the coast of Brittany, it traces experiments and discoveries made through the study of various seaweed species collected in the region over the years. The project gives shape to a new poetic imaginary, bringing the ocean’s continuous backwash into the artistic process—a movement that sets the rhythm of both life and desire.
