The Object of the Game

This template was made to commemorate the artwork, The Object of the Game, installed at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, Ontario. The artwork is made up of a grid of 52 baked porcelain enamel panels, laid out in a grid 4 rows high by 13 rows across. The first 48 panels each host a dot that represents, at actual size, a different piece of sports equipment. The smallest is a squash ball and the largest is a dartboard. The remaining 4 panels are devoted to a list of the 48 objects. Viewers are encouraged to guess what piece of sports equipment each circle represents, and to consult the list for confirmation.

For this commemorative multiple I have reduced all the dots proportionally so that the largest dot on the template, the dartboard, is now the size of the smallest dot in the artwork, the squash ball.
