Workshop (Keine Vorkenntnisse erforderlich)
Spotlight: Origamibuch und Konkrete Poesi Während des Workshops gestalten die Teilnehmenden ein wunderschön gefaltetes Origami-Buch mit bezogenen Buchdeckeln und füllen dies mit eigener Konkreter Poesie. Wir beginnnen mit der Erstellung eines Modells, um die Gestaltung zu verfeinern. Anschließend drucken, falzen und binden wir das fertige Layout zu einem Buchobjekt. Es bietet sich an, schon ein Gedicht oder eine Textidee zum Workshop mitzubringen.
Workshop (No previous knowledge required)
Spotlight: Origami book and concrete poetry During the workshop the participants will create a beautiful origami book with concrete poetry and a hardcover. For starting we’ll create a mock-up for the origami book, then moving onto finalizing layout, printing, folding and binding the final piece. Preferably the participants bring a text or a poem of their choice to the workshop.
Kosten/Cost:
65 Euro + 5 Euro (Materialkosten / Material fee)

Leiterin / Instructor
Julia Fabricius (geboren 1993 in Götheborg, Schweden) ist als Buchgestalterin und Illustratorin tätig und assistiert in einer Buchbinderei. Sie ist vor 7 Jahren von New York nach Berlin, gezogen, wo sie Bildende Kunst und Kunstgeschichte am Brooklyn College studiert hat. Nach ihrem Bachelorabschluss als Kommunkationsdesignerin 2018 hat sie ein Fernstudium in Buchgeschichte an Lund Universität (Schweden) gemacht und ein Praktikum an der Buchbinderei Klünder, Berlin, absolviert. Im Jahr 2021 hat sie bei der digitalen Plattform The Yellow Elefant angefangen Kurse in Buchgestaltung und Zeichnung für Kinder online zu geben.
Julia Fabricius (born 1993 in Gothenburg, Sweden) works as a book designer and illustrator and assists in a book bindery. She moved to Berlin from New York more than 7 years ago, where she was studying fine arts and art history at Brooklyn College. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design in 2018, and after that, she studied book history at Lund University, Sweden, and did an internship at Buchbinderei Klünder, Berlin. In 2021 she started to give online classes in bookbinding and drawing for kids through the digital platform The Yellow Elefant.
